Trying our best does NOT reach us anywhere!

If you ask anyone, they would say the same thing— they are all trying their best. But, are they? In life, we are all prone to believe that we are trying our best, because life is really hard, as it is. And adulating needs way more effort than it did some thirty-odd years ago. There is absolutely zero verifiable evidence to prove that 'trying our best' helps us in any way, shape or form to really make a difference in any project we are working on. Trying our best gets us to a limitation beyond which we don't even see ourselves. It's not a comfortable place to be in, when you want success.

Trying our best can turn out to be a slippery slope!

We all have different standards and for each of us, 'best' is such an abstract target that 'our best' doesn't prove any effort based upon which we can hope to succeed or expect support. Such abstraction goes a long way only to confuse ourselves. We must remember to never fool ourselves into giving up easily. Saying that we really have tried our best is letting fear take control of our situation. We always have to remember to try harder. And just a little more effort can make wonders happen.

Ban the phrase ‘trying YOUR best’ from your dictionary. Instead try THE best.

How to do that?

Here are a few easy steps

First you have to set a goal. Think about what you want to achieve and what kind of timeline you are looking at. Set step-by-step goals to reach the final result that you look forward to.

Now, in accordance with your final goal that you want to achieve, read at least 10 books, spend at least 5 hours a day researching everything you can on your aimed destination. Put in your hours it will matter the most.

Once you have done ample research, you have to decide now what values do you need to incorporate in order to achieve your desired goals and what kind of habits do you need to imbibe, which will help you in achieving whatever results you want to achieve in future.

Now, barring such rigorous effort and strenuous hours we cannot possibly claim to have attempted, in any way, shape or form, to ‘our best’.
